Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to find, use and enjoy The Line-Up. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Text and labels are checked to meet WCAG AA colour contrast in light and dark mode.
- Sport colours are always shown with the sport's name, never colour alone.
- Filters, menus and buttons work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Changes such as filter results and form messages are announced to screen readers.
- Pages work on small screens without scrolling sideways, and respect "reduce motion".
- There's a "Skip to listings" link at the top of each page.
What we haven't done yet
We haven't had an independent accessibility audit, and we haven't yet tested with every screen reader. Some links go to official club, ticket and broadcaster sites, which we don't control.
Venue accessibility
Where a venue publishes accessibility information, listings link to it as "Accessibility info". Where we haven't found an official page yet, the listing says so.
Tell us about a problem
If something doesn't work for you, email hello@theline-up.co.uk and tell us the page and what happened. We'll try to fix it, and can give you the information another way in the meantime.
